Recipe of the Month: Ayurvedic Immune Tonic

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 tsp Tulsi tea (Sacred basil)
  • ½ tsp turmeric
  • 1 knob of freshly grated ginger
  • 1 pinch of black pepper
  • 2 cups of hot water
  • Lemon/ lime
  • Raw honey

METHOD

  1. Place all ingredients in a teapot, add water and let brew for 10 minutes
  2. Add a squeeze of fresh lemon or lime, and raw honey to taste
  3. Drink 1 cup every hour when suffering cold and flu
