Sukhavati is located in the village of Bebengan. Community is central to Balinese culture, and with many of Sukhavati’s staff members living in Bebengan Village, Sukhavati is dedicated to helping the community thrive.
Our health and wellness retreat has established Panchakarma programs based on Ayurveda that are central to the earlier traditional healing modalities of Bali. With the help of Sukhavati’s Ayurvedic doctor, we are restoring local knowledge and understanding of treatments to assist in the traditional use of herbal medicines. Regular opportunities to receive consultations and seminars with the Ayurvedic Doctor are all part of the partnership our wellness resort has forged with the local community.
