Cuisine

Our gourmet chefs offer a unique experience of beautiful fresh vegetarian food and a range of specialised Ayurvedic dishes. The freshest ingredients are sourced from local growers, markets and also seasonally grown on our own property using organic farming methods.

Good simple food is an essential part of the Rejuvenation Programs at Sukhavati so our chefs work closely with our Ayurvedic specialists around your program to give you the best opportunity for a great healing and dining experience.

There are many dining options to enjoy your meals at Sukhavati. You may wish to enjoy your meals on your private villa balcony with full butler service to make you feel as spoilt as possible.

Many guests on our Retreat programs choose to be part of the communal dining experience in the River Dining Pavilion. This is a great way to interact with other guests and be a part of the Sukhavati community.

If a relaxed dining experience is more what you are after then you may wish to choose to dine on our new River Deck and enjoy views of the Penet River and surrounding luscious jungle.

For more formal occasions join us on the Lawn where we celebrate and enjoy Balinese music and dance.

Before you leave Sukhavati don't forget to purchase a copy of The Sukhavati Cookbook. This book is a collection of recipes you can take home with you to support your new found joy, energy and maintain your new level of health and wellness.

The recipes in this book all come directly from the menu at Sukhavati and have been created on Ayurvedic principles for nourishment and cleansing. Each dish is infused with beautiful, fresh and exciting flavour combinations of Indian and Balinese cusine while focusing on simple methods so the recipes can be recreated at home.
