Recipe of the Month: Chai Tea

When trying to cut out coffee or sugary snacks during the day, it can be hard to find something that hits the spot. Our Chai tea is not only nutritious but a great substitute for your afternoon cravings. Read the full recipe below and avoid those afternoon slumps.
INGREDIENTS
- 300 ml water
- 400 ml milk (organic, biodynamic) or nut milk
- 1 tsp black tea
- 3cm knob ginger
- 3 cardamom pods
- 1 cinnamon stick
METHOD
- Crush the ginger, cardamom pods and cinnamon stick with a mortar and pestle.
- Add spices and black tea to a saucepan, then add milk and water.
- Bring to boil, then reduce to simmer for 15 minutes until it begins to smell fragrant.
- Strain and serve.
